Xbox Series X and S receive updates to show games that use Quick Resume – Gaming
Microsoft has released an update for the Xbox Series X and S for a small test suite that provides an overview of games that use the Quick Resume feature. It will also be possible to delete your recorded sessions.
According to Microsoft, being able to see all the quick CVs in progress from different games is a must-have feature. This is now possible in the form of a new group which displays the saved state of the game sessions. In addition, it is possible to save the game state Deletion, When the player does not want to use the quick resume function of this game.
Until now, there was no clear display or indication of the games saved in Quick Resume and the space available for this save function is limited, making it difficult to define which games allow for a quick recovery. .
The Quick Resume feature allows seamless switching between games. Within seconds, the exact state of the game session and the state of another game being loaded are saved, after which players can continue playing exactly where they left off.
Additionally, the new Insiders update lets you know if the game currently playing supports Quick Resume through Directory. This will then appear in the upper right corner of the Xbox interface overlay, where, for example, an indicator will also appear if the game supports Auto HDR.
The update is currently only available to a small group of Alpha Skip-Ahead Suite testers. Eventually, the update will be released for all users, but it’s still unclear when.
