Titan Souls is free on Steam for a limited time
Perhaps you’ve seen the news of Death’s Door, one of the many bird games showing at E3 this year? It stands out from the flock, being a game about a crow with a sword that harvests the souls of the dead. Death’s Door is the work of indie studio Acid Nerve, who previously created the Titan Souls top-down boss fight puzzle adventure, and to keep everyone excited about the new game, the old one is free to play. for a limited time.
Titan Souls is a game where every fight is a boss fight, and you only have one arrow. Fortunately, this arrow can be reused, returning to your bow after being downed, and each of its 20 bosses – the Title Titans – can be killed with one hit in the right place. Solving the puzzle of finding and exhibiting this place is not easy, however.
We gave it a score of 87% and described it this way: “When you land that perfect shot, accentuated by a single stroke of the cymbal, everything freezes. The music stops, the color of the game fades and you’re gone for a few seconds to realize that, against all odds, you did. There was nothing cheap, no gambling on the system or finding an easy way to do it. You discovered the Titan, usually during a considerable number of attempts, exposed the weak point and fired an arrow in the middle of it. You did it. You are a hell of a hero. “
If this sounds like your thing, you have until Monday, June 14 at 10 a.m. PT to pick up Titan Souls on Steam.
