Premium gaming experience in Harrisburg PC Xbox PS5
Wade Randall describes himself as a “video game nerd”.
Now, he’s about to share that love with the Harrisburg community.
Conquer Escape Room is not new to the area, but now the company is now adding a gaming aspect to the community. It will be accompanied by 12 “high-end” PCs, virtual reality configurations. This includes a Hologate arena, a multiplayer virtual reality system that uses haptic vests and hand controllers.
The company will also have six modern consoles, including three Playstation 5s, three Xbox Series X devices, and Nintendo Switches. There is also a “retrostation”, which includes Playstation 1 and Nintendo 64.
“(You can play) every game you can think of, and if we don’t have it, we’ll get it,” owner Wade Randall said. ‘…The concept is just to create a social space for gamers to play on the latest high-end hardware…We just kind of want to capitalize on how many people are playing and give them the best experience possible at the most affordable price possible.”
It’s inside a massive facility that’s about 100,000 square feet, according to Randall, and includes escape rooms, a trampoline park, and basketball courts.

Looking to add adult lounge, bar in 2023
In addition to the new game center, Randle said the company plans to add an 18-by-20-foot bar upstairs, as well as classic arcade games. This is expected to open in January 2023. The company plans to target the older demographic with classic games and tabletop games.
“That’s where we’ll get more traditional stuff, but that’s a future thing,” Randle said.
Inside the gaming area, Conquer also plans to serve alcoholic beverages, including beer and wine, once it is operational. And, the plan is to add snacks such as chips, sodas, and candies.

Conquer Gaming also plans to host leagues and tournaments once it goes live. And, there will be big prizes.
Potential prizes include cash prizes of $3,000, televisions, gaming consoles, and a 3090 gaming PC, which is “top of the line.” Tournament games include Fortnite, Call of Duty and Smash Bros – to name a few.
At Conquer gaming, the opening weekend will be completely free for two hours of play.
For the opening month, it will be a “buy an hour get an hour free”.
- Premium Station (including high-end 3090 PCs, Index VR): $7/hr
- PC: $6/h, $14/3h.
- Consoles (PS5, Xbox Series X): $4/hr, $10/3hr
- Retrostation: (Playstation 1, Nintendo 64, Nintendo Switch): $3/hr
For consoles, Conquer will offer GamePass, so users can download specific games they want to play and even log into their own Playstation and Xbox accounts.
Conquer Gaming will also offer $20 all-day passes that expire at midnight, or $25 all-night passes.
The objective for the company is to remain profitable. With COVID-19 throwing a wrench in the supply chain, Randall noticed that chips were extremely expensive, so he decided to make gaming more accessible.
“We’re not going to charge for remotes…we’re not going to. We’re basically trying to provide the most luxurious, high-end experience possible, for the least amount of money possible,” said Randle. “We’re not building it to be a profit center, but we want to build a community.”
The business is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Sunday through Thursday. And then on weekends, the trade will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 a.m. the next day. Conquer Escape Room and Gaming is located in Harrisburg at 310 Industrial Rd., and the game center will launch on October 1.
