Formats and protocols

New web interface
Now CodecWorks implements a faster and more user-friendly web interface. The alpha version has been released, so functionality is limited, but soon the interface will have the full range of cool features.
Other characteristics
• Hardware transcoding to an NVIDIA graphics card is available now.
• Internal interaction for software components is accelerated.
• Now that the schema version history is saved, you can safely edit the schema and then easily restore the original version.
• The possibility of manual generation of service information tables NIT, SDT, TDT is added.
• In the Manager, the new Input URL column is added. The column value can be copied for later use.
• You can now search for a scheme by URL.
• The list of SNMP events that can be notified by CodecWorks is extended.
• The journaling system is redesigned: a rotation of the journals by size or by time of creation is added. Rotation events are recorded in the log.
This time we focused on the Windows version. Elecard CodecWorks 4.8 for Linux also supports SRT, RTMP and RIST and includes other enhancements. Support for NVIDIA graphics and other important features will be added soon, stay tuned for more news!
