GoldenEye 007 Remaster will probably be released very soon
It looks like the widely rumored remaster of the classic Nintendo 64 shooter GoldenEye 007 could come out much sooner than expected. Over the past two months, several leaks have surfaced suggesting that a new version of the popular James Bond video game will be coming to Xbox at some point. And while we haven’t yet received any official confirmation of this happening, it looks like a reveal and release will be happening in the very near future.
After a handful of new achievements related to the Xbox version of GoldenEye 007 appearing online, the full list of achievements for the game has now appeared on the Xbox website. This leak not only verifies that GoldenEye 007 is certainly being remastered, but it also seems to suggest that a launch will arrive much sooner than expected. Usually, achievements only appear like this on the Xbox website very close to the release of a specific title. Because GoldenEye 007 the full list of achievements is now posted, it looks like this game could be in our hands at some point in the next week or two.

A way that GoldenEye 007 could end up being released so soon thanks to the upcoming Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase on June 12th. At this point, it seems likely that Xbox will choose to officially reveal the game on this site. However, as we’ve seen before in showcases like this, games are sometimes “shadow-dropped” to coincide with the event. Essentially, this just means Xbox could choose to unveil and release GoldenEye 007 the same day. There’s no guarantee just yet that this will eventually happen, but given this new leak coupled with the game’s achievements, it seems like a very plausible situation. We’ll keep you posted here at ComicBook.com as we learn more about this highly anticipated remaster in the coming days.
