FIFA 23 fans notice accidental T-pose animation in official gameplay
FIFA 23 fans have spotted a pretty hilarious EA error in new footage of the game. FIFA 23 is one of the most interesting games in the entire series for a number of reasons. More recently, the game had its cover revealed with a female player on it, a first for the series. EA also said it would not include Russian teams or clubs in FIFA 23 following the war in Ukraine. It’s also EA’s last game with the FIFA license, meaning it’ll get a brand new name in 2023. As for what other changes this will bring remains to be seen, but it’s certainly interesting for fans of series.
However, EA missed something in recent gameplay that made the publisher the subject of some humiliation. Newly Released FIFA 23 the footage includes a character posing in the background and while you probably wouldn’t see him if you didn’t know he was there, once you see him, it’s hard not to see him. Reddit user Raks noticed the incident and reported it to other fans who had a blast with the error. Sure, those things happen and it’s probably nothing to worry about, but it doesn’t make it any less funny to see a pro athlete in a super expensive video game just posing in front of a goal while other players battle aggressive for the ball.
no way EA will really let a player pose in T in the new official FIFA gameplay trailer🤣
If you are unfamiliar with the T-pose, the standard pose is used for 3D models before animating them. If you watch behind-the-scenes footage of motion capture, you’ll usually see actors stepping into a T-position as they begin or end a scene. This incident also reminded people of when a video of the NBA Elite 11 demo went viral. In the video, player Andrew Bynum randomly hit a mid-court T-pose on the half court after receiving the ball. The game was canceled soon after, though it was likely for more reasons than the now infamous “Jesus Bynum” meme.
